About the Olympiad
The Scholars Science Olympiad (SSO) has been developed to encourage scientific curiosity and strengthen conceptual understanding among young learners. It provides students with an opportunity to explore scientific ideas beyond memorisation by applying knowledge, analysing situations and solving practical problems.
The Olympiad promotes scientific inquiry, observation, reasoning and logical interpretation while helping students appreciate the relevance of science in everyday life.
Aligned with the CBSE and ICSE curricula and suitably adapted for IB learners, the examination assesses both conceptual knowledge and application skills appropriate to each grade level.
